Second floorReception room

The reception room and office are on the second floor at the Gyotoku Mikoshi Museum.
To make a new Mikoshi, we use a Mikoshi simulator which is a world first. For repairs and other enquires we will use our past knowledge and experience to give you the best consultation possible.

First floorGyotoku Mikoshi Museum

To provide a place where people can learn about traditional Japanese culture such as festivals and Mikoshi and feel familiar with them, we opened the “Gyotoku Mikoshi Museum” and it is the first Mikoshi museum in the world.
We exhibit Mikoshi, Mikoshi interior and the craftsman’s tools, which are rarely seen up close.
We provide a space for taking photos while wearing Hanten. We also sell commemorative and original goods.

Craftsmen who are specialised in Mikoshi production and repair work in this workshop.
We reliably produce Mikoshi for our customers first by choosing the appropriate type of wood, then timber manufacturing, lacquering, metal ornament production, sculpturing and gilded gold plating.
